This week we have been working incredibly hard and are getting in to the swing of being in Y5.

In maths we have been working on the place value of numbers up to 1 million! We also had a go at working out 10, 100, 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000 more or less than a number. In English we have been writing an adventure story about a girl named Hannah and a very handsome gorilla. In our P.E. lessons we had a go at playing hockey on grass. We decided that it is not as easy as it looks!! In History lessons we discovered what life was like in Tudor times. We made timelines and information pages which Mrs Angel said were beautiful and we should all be proud of our work.
