Hampton Court Palace Visit.

5LA had an exciting day at Hampton Court Palace on Thursday.   We had a very early start as it is a long way, but our coach was very comfortable and there was lots to see on the way.   

Hampton Court Palace is where Henry VIII lived.   We visited lots of rooms and saw some of his armour and some amazing portraits of him and other Tudor people.   The best part was the kitchens where we saw how the food was prepared, and we also saw how the dining room would have been laid out, including a red and gold throne.

We spent some time in the classroom looking at evidence to try and work out whether Henry VIII was a good King.   It was very interesting to read extracts from the time, and try and work out the clues. 

We had a great time !
