Happy New Year!

We have got straight back in to our learning after the Christmas holiday. The first curriculum focus was PSHE; we talked about our hopes, dreams and goals for this year and for the future. 

Our English writing unit is all about the water cycle. We imagined we were water droplets and wrote a factual tour of the water cycle. This linked with our Science unit of work - States of Matter. We found out all about solids, liquids and gases, and we have learnt how to use a thermometer in our investigative work.

On Friday, we enjoyed a Mandarin taster session with East Norfolk College. We learnt how to say hello and introduce ourselves, some facts about Chinese culture, how to use chopsticks and even took part in a lion dance!
