Cheers!

Barton Headteachers for the Day enjoy a well-earned cup of tea!

Today, was a combination of Red Nose Day and the two Barton House Junior Leaders being Headteachers for the Day. Both of them were outstandingly enthusiastic and certainly dressed for the part. Over the course of the day, they completed a learning walk, interviewed Junior pupils, read to Infant pupils, carried out a good work presentation assembly, took photographs of the Comic Relief celebrations, engaged with pupils at break time and replied to emails. Well done guys! I am glad you enjoyed yourselves.

It was, of course, Comic Relief and together with the Infant school we raised £377.65. This is a fabulous achievement; one I am extremely proud of everyone for contributing so much for so many worthy causes recently.

Across next week, we have parent and teacher meetings once again, where you can see how your child has been behaving and how they have engaged with their continued learning. We also have a mixed Years 3 & 4 football tournament at Martham Primary Academy on Tuesday, and the Girls' Football team have their first fixture against Hillside on the same day we are all wearing a hat to raise money for brain tumour research. As it is Easter soon, we are also hoping for some Easter egg donations.

Have a lovely weekend everyone in the sunshine.
