Red Noses All Around!

Comic Relief ends a hectic week!

It has been another busy week with different events in our build up to Easter.

On Tuesday, the parents got to visit to share in the learning journeys of their children. I am glad everyone enjoyed themselves and we received lots of positive feedback. The children also got a great deal from telling their relatives all about what they have been doing. It was also a great opportunity to look through books prior to parent-teacher meetings.

Wednesday saw the Years 5 & 6 Boys' football team play Hemsby after school and the boys secured a hard-fought victory. Lots of chances created, but sadly only one turned into a goal, which thankfully is all we needed to win. North Denes Primary School is up next for the Boys' and Girls' teams on Friday where, once again, we are hoping for two good performances and two victories. Fingers crossed!

The Year 6 class travelled over to Saxon Air of Norwich Airport to enjoy aeronautical design, safety and engineering courtesy of one of the children who won a Pink Plane competition earlier in the year. Lots of aspirational enjoyment was had by all.

Friday saw Comic Relief arrive and everyone donned something red to celebrate. We all looked great and children enjoyed their themed Red Nose Day games.

Next week, we have Parent-Teacher Meetings, so hopefully all of you have booked a time slot to meet with your class teachers. It is also Science Week for us across the Federation and we have lots of different activities planned for children to participate in. Next Friday is non-uniform day in return for Easter Egg donations towards our Easter raffle. Remember it is 20p a square, so come and try your luck. We also have our final football fixtures of the season at home to Caister for both the Boys' and Girls' football teams.

Have a great weekend everyone.
