Grand Finale

Football is a funny old game!

Sadly, it was not the fairytale ending to the season we wanted but the Years 5 and 6 boys' team played extremely well in their League Grand Final in very uncomfortable and hot conditions. They had several accurate shots, worked well as a passing unit and defended strongly. On this occasion, we were beaten by another good team and on a different day a winning result may have been achieved.

The Federation is so proud of all the players' efforts this year and hopes the new season ahead will provide just as many fantastic memories as this one has. A massive thank you to all the players and parents for their unwaivering support at every single match. Come on Ormesby!

It was positive on Tuesday when I got to carry out a learning walk with our School Improvement Partner. This opportunity provides some valuable external quality assurance for many different areas of the school. I am pleased to announce this was a successful visit.

Next week, I am sure some of our Year 2 parents will be attending the Junior school for the open evening if their child is entering into our Year 3 class in September. This will be on Wednesday 18th June at 5:00pm. On Friday, our final two Junior Leaders will be experiencing being Headteachers for the Day.

Have a great weekend everyone!
