Ewe have to be joking!

School prepares to host some sheep!

Another week has flown by as we approach Easter and I am staggered at how much we are getting through with the children in such a short half-term. The school has agreed to look after a sheep and her lamb(s) next week, which have been provided via Learning through Livestock. As it is Science and Engineering week for us, our scientific enquiry and content will be geared around the sheep. I am sure the children will enjoy learning from live animals. The enclosure has arrived, we now await the animals.

Another joint rehearsal ahead of the Norfolk County Music Festival went well and the children can be heard singing wonderfully. I have no doubt it will be fantastic on the day, which is Tuesday next week, so we do not have long to wait. Spectators can attend for a small fee on the door, I believe, so feel free to come along and cheer us on. We have a final rehearsal on Monday 16th.

Next week, on Monday, our Years 5 and 6 footballers have a match against Hemsby at home, On Tuesday 17th, our Junior choristers will go over to Norwich to sing at the Norfolk County Music Festival. They will arrive back just before the parents are invited in, once more, to sit alongside their children to go through their learning at the Curriculum Celebration Event, ahead of parent-teacher meetings in the final week. On Friday, we will have a non-uniform day in exchange for an Easter egg for our raffle and we are asking children to come in wearing something red in honour of Red Nose Day.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
