Singers raise the roof!

Songs, Races and Tag-Rugby!

Another extremely wet week has gone by, but the school show must go on. It is that time of year, where our choir rehearses and prepares for the festive season and they performed extremely well at the Great Yarmouth Minster as part of their Christmas activities. Two songs were sung beautifully and they were well supported. Some of them then went on to perform at the Christmas Fayre on Saturday at Flegg High Academy (pictured). Well done to all, just make sure you have got a voice left for serenading the senior citizens at the Senior Citizen's lunch with Year 3 on Thursday.

Monday saw ENSFC students come over to teach our Year 5 children about the Arabic language and culture. This was a fun workshop and provided the children with greater exposure to diversity and difference.

On Tuesday, twenty-two Junior pupils went over to Bure Park to take part in their annual cross-country race. Each year group performed well and we were fortunate enough to get six children finishing within the top ten. Again, another hugely successful visit and aspirational event. If there is to be another level to compete in, the school awaits to be informed. Fingers crossed.

Next week, we have Year 6 taking part in their Crucial Crew safety trip on Tuesday, whilst on Thursday a select group of pupils are heading over to Ormiston Venture Academy to take part in a Tag-Rugby session. On the same day, Year 3 pupils will be welcoming their elderly relatives in to dine with them and enjoy a tasty lunch prepared by Norse.

Have a relaxing weekend everyone!
