Summer Fayre Fun!

Summer Fayre breaks fundraising record!

Thankfully, the weather remained bright, warm and sunny, which enabled us all to have the very well-organised Summer Fayre outside. There were the usual stalls, but this year the PTFA wished to maximise their profit so ensured everything offered was managed by their members. The new and second-hand toy stands were very popular as was the Ormes-bee Honey. We broke our fundraising record this year with a profit of £2,120.28. This was an amazing achievement by all involved.

On Wednesday, the musical talents of our Junior pupils were on show as Mrs. White-Joubert and Mr. Harris produced our Summer Concert. Singing, dancing, piano, drums, guitar, keyboard and much more was available to tantalise our listening audience of family members. The Year 6 Band was a particular highlight. Well done to all performers.

Wednesday also saw three of our Junior pupils take part in the Ormesby University graduation in recognition of their regular attendance at

On Thursday, the Attendance Reward Trip took place for the children eligible from across the Federation where they went off the The Arc Cinema to watch How To Train Your Dragon. It was a successful trip and the children enjoyed it immensely. Hopefully, we have more children wanting to attend next year.

Next week, we have our Year 6 Leavers' BBQ and traditional rounders match against parents and staff on Thursday. We will then have our Year 6 Leavers' Assembly on Friday at the village Church at 10:00am.

Have a relaxing weekend everyone.
